Farenheit 451

The best thing about my book is it is very suspensful, you never know for sure what is going to happen next! There are many suspensful events that the author creates. There is also alot of use of foreshadowing, yet it still leaves the reader wondering what is going to happen next. This is personally the best thing about the book in my opinion.

A bad thing that i think is in my book is how the author makes it kind o f harder for you to figure out what is gong on. I said that i thought a good thing was suspense. I do think suspense is good but there is alot of confusion in my story. Which can be entertaining but i think it is also a sort of disadvantage to a story.

Comparing Characters

I think between the Twilight Saga and the Host the two characters that striked me as being similar is the two main male figures. The reason i say this is because they both feel the same way about the girl. And they both act the same way around her i compared them because when i read these book and compare they are very similar characters.

Twilight Vs. The Host

I think that between both book series i prefer the Twilight Saga i think that it is more interesting to read. I also think if she is trying to make it a love story the Twilight Saga is a much better love story. I do think that they are both written very well, but if i were to tell someone which one to read i would rather them read i would say the Twilight Saga.

Character I Liek

There are two main characters. The main character I like is the boy because i think as a individual he is a stronger character. I also think he makes better decisions for what is put in front of him and he is a smarter character.  The girl is also a good character, but i prefer the boy because he is stronger.

Differences

There are a lot of things that are the same with the Twilight Saga and The Host but there are also a lot of differences. I think that she meant to make them similar but the setting is very different from the the Twilight Saga so i think even though there is similarity you will find a lot of differences.

Similarities

The same author who wrote this book wrote the Twilight Saga. I think that this book is kind of similar because it is a love story that involves a lot of drama. I think that the Twilight Saga has a lot of of love and drama in it, i think the author did this for a reason.

Changes in the Book

If i could change anything to my nook it would be all the different characters they introduce. Whenever i read books that have too many different characters I get very confused. I would also change how many things are going on at one time. It is all too much to catch on to in my personal opinion.

Characteristics Of Characters

In my book i have two main characters, I personally think the two of them look very different for many reasons. One because one is a boy and the other is a girl. In my head i see the boy as being very muscular and big and very attractive. I see the girl as being very pretty yet kind of bony and not near as big as the boy! Check this video out!

Conversation Vs. Character

a conversation i would like to have with my two main characters is how do you deal with all this at once? Are you scared? Do you think you will be able to overcome this? The reason i ask these questions is because alot come at the characters at once within their environment. and my question is how they can handle everything coming to them at once. As i'm reading they can deal with alot of things.

Conversations

There would be many conversations i would like to have with my character but there is one major conversation i would have. My conersation would ask how through all the changes in his life how was he able to cope. His lover was changing and so were his surroundings and he still stayed strong throughout the whole thing. So another question i would ask him is how did you not give up in the times that you could've done so?And how were you able to resolve the situation like you did? In my personal opinion this is a very strong character.

Character Change

There are many reasons of why my charatcers changed. Both of the main characters started off as nice and not too problamatic even though everyone has little problems. But as my book progressed i could see a big change in my charcters, as there were more dramatic events there were more changes with the characters, they were starting to get more anxious and start more drama. Which led to conflict among the characters. As the story goes on the anxiety and anger does not get better.

Behavior

People can behave in many different ways. It all depends on the mood or what"s going on. In my book things aren't going too easy so people are very stressed witch leads to many bad things. This can relate to real life because your behavior can affect what goes on around you. If its good behavior then it simply leads to better things happening, if you have bad behavior then it simply leads to bad things. That"s why my book has many problems because peoples behavior is not as good, which also maks the book more interesting.

Theme

The themes that seems really intersting to me in this story is how even if people do not think highly of someone you are close with you still do not care and you dont let that effect your relationship. I think that this is very important theme because it can relate to people in real life because not everyone likes the person you are close with. It is not always the easiest thing to go through but people still get through it. In  my book two people become very close and then something happens to the girl that makes alot of people think differently about her, he never loses hope and he tries to help her through it. So i think that this is a very important theme in the story and it can also relate to real life.

Author

Why the author wrote his/her work

I think the author wrote this book for many reasons. I think she wanted it to be similiar to her Twilight Saga but at the same time kind of different. The host kind of has the same set up as her other books it about strange love, but the plot is sort of different. The Twilight Saga has to do more with the vampires and The Host has to do more with normal people against these ailien type things.

 

 

Stephenie Meyer though didn't actually write this for any reason at all she says. She was in a long car and it was a long car ride and she gotto thinking and she said it was out of complete boredome. Yet, she did say something compelled her to keep writing. She also did say that her own characters amazed and entertained her. This book was just supposed to be a little project for her and nothing big but that's not what The Host turned out to be. 

 



My independant Reading book post

I chose my book foro many reasons. This book is like the  Twilight Saga and that used to be my favorite Saga. I wasnt too sure if i still wanted to read this saga but when i saw this i was very interested. It was a mixture of her books she already wrote and then something different so this book caught my attention.

 

 Stephenie Meyer said in this book about herself that when she wrote it, it was out of complete boredome.She also did it for her own entertainment.  When she writes  her books she says that even when she is writing the book the characters interest and amaze her. I thought this was interesting because she is the one that is choosing what the characters do yet she still gets surprised. I think she is a very cool writer.
